Wonderful friendly hosts, beautiful setting, delicious breakfast every morning (with home made yoghurt and cake!), free Netflix in every room, 3 mins walk from the beach and a very sweet cat too. 8 mins from the ferry terminal, and we were met on arrival to help bring our bags up too which was a lovely touch. The beach itself is beautiful and surprisingly quiet, but has 4 or 5 very good restaurants on it too. There are ample cooking facilities and a brand spanking new bbq area if you feel like cooking at home. A 20 minute walk from the home takes you to another very private beach, and just past that you can go snorkelling with turtles in Lagoa Verde. Would recommend this place to anyone, a very special and beautiful spot!

As a gardener, I could not resist this special place, designed by a landscape designer, for my first stay in the Atlantic rainforest. The beautiful grounds give way to total nature in steps. It was quiet and comfortable, a true getaway from it all but easy to reach town in minutes by boat. The walk to Abraao is worth doing once, but make use of the convenient boat to reach the more impressive hiking paths on the island. We enjoyed listening to the frogs and birds—watch out for hummingbirds and bright blue butterflies. The breakfast and dinner was fantastic.

Pousada Tropical Araçatiba se nachází v Praia de Araçatiba, 9 km od zálivu Bananal a jen 1 minutu od pláže. Na místě je restaurace. The staff was so friendly and helpful! The family room is rather cozy but yet comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay, you really are made to feel welcome. The staff greet you at the beach and carry your luggage to your room and give you a glass of water. Really the best part of this place is their hospitality. The beds are comfortable, the place is clean and the breakfast was tasty.

Loved everything about it! All the staff were super helpful and extremely friendly, the food was amazing (breakfast and restaurant) plus having the experience to have breakfast or dinner with the best view from the main desk was 1000/10. The room was very well equipped, with aircon and a very clean and modern bathroom. They provide bath and beach towels 👌 We didn't have a view from the bedroom but that wasn't necessary because we would spend every full day out exploring the island 🤩 The location was great too (short walk through the trail to main Araçatiba beach to one side and Araçatibinha beach to the other side). Plus, the Pousada rents kayaks, snorkelling masks and SUPs at convenient prices, all of very good quality 👌 The flexiboat from Angra dos Reis and the boat tours around the island can pick up and drop directly from Pousada Convés 💯 Thank you to Pedro, Joao, Roberto, and everyone else who made our experience the best one 😄 would definitely come back! Good location and great views of the beach. Staff was very friendly and the WIFI was pretty good. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Would stay here again.

Lovely stay in this beautiful pousada on the beach of Bananal. Relaxed and friendly environment, the staff is always kind, helpful and available. The view on the beach is incredible and the rooms were clean and spacious. We loved the restaurant of the pousada, with nice choices and fair prices. We were able to relax and disconnect, and fully enjoy this part of the island.
