Marco was very attentive to our every request, constantly making sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. It's rare for us to get such a good experience from hosts! Otherwise, the location was perfect for us, and having a parking spot nearby really helped us when we were arriving late at night from the Summerside Festival in a nearby town. The apartment itself was large and comfortable, and it was great to have a balcony we could relax at the end of a long day.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful location with breathtaking views of the nearby mountains. Good sized room, very clean. I'm happy I chose to stay in this small village, it's not nearly as full as Grindelwald for example.

The Hotel Steinbock is located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen opposite the train and cable car station for Grütschalp, Mürren and the Schilthorn. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was not only spacious and incredibly comfortable, but it also offered a breathtaking view. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the exceptional customer service. After accidentally leaving our camera behind, we faced the unfortunate reality that returning to retrieve it wasn’t an option. Yet, the staff and manager at Hotel Steinbock went above and beyond to ensure it was safely returned to us. Their kindness, honesty, and dedication were absolutely remarkable—and deeply appreciated. In a world where such genuine helpfulness is rare, their actions left a lasting impression on me. Whenever I return to Lauterbrunnen, there’s no question—I’ll be staying at Hotel Steinbock again and again.

The Alpenblick hotel is a family business, situated about 600 metres from the centre of Grindelwald, right at the ski slope and a bus stop, and offers nice rooms and tasty food. The hosts are very friendly and the room is very clean and tidy. The public toilets and bathrooms are very clean. More importantly, they offer a rich variety of free breakfasts, including coffee, milk, fruits, yogurt, bread, jam, bacon, cured meat, boiled eggs, and everything is delicious. Every day after eating, we are very powerful. The transportation is very convenient, and the bus stop is right outside. Open the window of the room and you can see the beautiful scenery, which is truly unforgettable.
