Our room was sparkling clean, the bed very comfortable and we had a fast wi-fi connection. Room had beautiful view over the valley. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order perfectly. The staff was very accommodating and multi-lingual. We will stay there again when back in Switzerland next year.

Gasthaus zum Ochsen byl otevřen v roce 2012 a nachází se v Grosswangenu, 20 minut jízdy od Lucernu. The manager and all the staff were amazingly responsive to anything we needed. We asked for an extra fan because it was during a heat wave and they sent one to our room before we even arrived back from our activities for the day. When our 3-year-old left his stuffed animal, they found it and mailed it back to us. Breakfast was tailored to our group size, tasty, and ready at a time we prearranged - and all for a very affordable price - especially in Switzerland. We stayed in the apartment, which had a well-equipped kitchen, new IKEA furniture, and plenty of space for our large group.
