- Our apartment, equipped with a small kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom, was comfortable, well-decorated, and clean. - The staff's hospitality was magnificent. - We were teleworking for several hours per day during the week we spent there, and the internet connection was stable and fast enough. - The location is excellent, offering the possibility to explore stunning nearby beaches, impressive viewpoints over cliffs, and cities like Gijón, Oviedo, and Avilés are relatively close. Dreamy villages such as Lastres and Tazones are also within reach.

Staff was very helpful, kind, did their best to make us feel good. The village itself and specifically the little cow we could see from our room. The cow view was the best.

Hostal Vegadeo is situated in La Calzada's neighbourhood, just 100 metres from Arbeyal beach and close to Gijón's harbour. Cimadevilla is 2.5 km away.

When I arrived I remembered I had stayed here before and the lady that met me remembered me so we had a nice talk. She explained some of the culture of northern Spain to me. I decided to stay an extra night before moving on to my destination. It's in a great location within minutes of the beach. I definitely recommend staying here and it's perfect if you fly into Asturias airport. Ryanair fly here from Dublin now so it's a lovely city but also a great place to start your trip to northern Spain. Also great wi-fi
