Just 4 miles from Bath, The Wheatsheaf Combe Hay is a West Country inn dating back to the 1500s. The breakfast was lovely, I have the veggie full English and the veggie sausages were a highlight!

Wheelwrights Arms Country Inn & Pub is situated in the peaceful village of Monkton Combe, surrounded by picturesque hills and valleys. Location is wonderful - just 10 minutes from Bath City Center, and the landscape around the Inn is stunning. Great breakfast, of which a lot of it is homemade - not to mention the dinner, with great, fresh salads and stone-baked pizzas all at a reasonable price. Lovely rooms, helpful and very friendly staff. There is nothing to complain about - 10/10.

Room & pub was right decision. Stuff were so friendly and helpful .Foods are delicious. Location is just 5mins to ride and park and 10 mins journey to city.definitely we will visit again ! Highly recommended !!

The location is just so cool, staying over a nice cozy pub and since they close quite early it didn't create any noise issues. It is super close to the center and you can explore the city on foot. It is dog friendly. We also loved the breakfast which was prepared specifically for each person (waffles for me, egg on toast and roasted tomatoes for my partner). It is a great place for a short stay in Bath.
