Hotels with Hot tubs in Baa Atoll

The resort is well kept and is great quality given the costs. It’s not of course the luxurious resort you can find (at a much higher cost) in some other atolls, but the rooms are nice and cozy, they get cleaned TWICE per day and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Every room has its little private beach area where you can sunbathe, read or enjoy the shade of palm trees. The biggest surprise was the FOOD. We had an all inclusive deal and we (a group of spoiled Italians) were expecting less than average food (especially given the price was really good for the all inclusive - booked a few months in advance though). Instead, we found that breakfast, lunch and dinners were one better than the other each day. Everyday the buffet menu would change, including local specialties, Indian specialties, Asian specialties (even fresh sushi on a couple of occasions!), always some Italian options (good for young kids especially as there were “safe bets” like pasta, rice and all). The breakfast was great, you could choose fruit and sweets or savoury (with eggs done your way on the spot). Lunch had always vegetarian options, meat and fish (sometimes grilled on the spot), with a great selection of desserts - same goes for dinner. We were really impressed by the amount of choice, the quality of the food and the service was amazing (each table had its own dedicated assistant).

Whatever I write will be incomplete, sincerity and professionalism are at the highest level. Everything you are looking for is available on the island. Perfect in every way. Dusit Thani was a real treat, and was the perfect tonic after an intense 12 months of work. Snorkelling at the UNESCO biosphere reserve was a true highlight. Shout out to the staff who were all wonderful, especially the footballers at the market. Great to see the organised soccer matches for staff at nightfall - makes you think that staff are well looked after which contributes positively to the overall experience. It was also nice to see John the General Manager getting around the tables at dinner time to speak to the residents - it was a nice personal touch. Accommodation, food, the amenities - all amazing, and cycling around the island turned out to be a whole lot of fun. We will return!

Friendly stuff, professional service, delicious food, amazing villa - everything clean and looking better than in the pictures (lagoon villa on the water). The resort is very environmentally friendly - haven’t noticed a piece of plastic and the turtle rescue center is a beautiful initiative!
