We stayed at Spa Puente Romano from May 7 to May 8, and it was an unforgettable experience! The hotel is perfectly located right in the center, just across the bridge from the old town — an ideal spot to enjoy the charm of Alcalá del Júcar. It’s a brand-new hotel, and it honestly felt like we were the first guests in our room. Everything was spotless, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped. There was air conditioning, a cozy fireplace that also heats the room, a large TV, and a very comfortable bed. Everything looked exactly like the photos — or even better in real life. There is also free parking right outside, just under the windows, which was super convenient. The highlight was definitely the jacuzzi with ambient lighting next to a large mirror — a perfect setting for a romantic evening. The staff were also very kind and allowed us to check out two hours later, which we really appreciated. We will definitely be coming back. I absolutely recommend this hotel — it’s a truly special place in one of the most beautiful towns in Spain.

Great location, and a LOT of time and effort put into making the space look great and feel comfortable. It's a cave house, with lots of room ; great facilities, smart TV, small kitchen, nice clean bathroom, hot tub and big lounge to stretch out. Great hosts, very friendly. Great location- it is rural- so be aware of travelling, beautiful canyon setting, with bars 5 minutes each direction, and easy reach (by car) to nearby towns. 3 hours from Madrid

The tunnel house was new, modern and wonderfully clean. Kitchen facilities were very good. The long walk down the tunnel from the entrance to the bedroom and spa with amazing views was just the experience we were looking for. On arrival, the room was smelling wonderful and had tranquil music playing. Champagne glasses were chilling in the fridge, so don't forget it! The views from the bed and spa were awesome. It was located very close to the castle, 2 min walk, and the town itself is so beautiful. Llanos will meet you on arrival, no matter how lost you are! We were confused as to where the castle carpark was (where you leave your car for free overnight, a 5 min walk up a rather steep road). Tip: if you drive into the town and the castle is what you see first on your left, go through the town and out, up, up, up... you will see a big sign to the castle car park. You can park near the house to unload and then move your car, no problem. The tunnel house is located in a lovely area to stroll around, day and night.
