The remote setting, surrounded by stunning snow-covered wilderness, made the experience even more magical. To make it even better, we also got to enjoy the New Year fireworks, which added a festive touch to our unforgettable trip. The staff were incredibly helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. Our room was cozy and warm, perfect for relaxing after a night of aurora hunting. The restaurant was fantastic, serving delicious food that made our stay even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a comfortable, scenic stay with a great chance to see the Northern Lights and celebrate the New Year in a magical setting, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

This Finnish Lapland property offers traditional cabins and a waterfront sauna next to Lake Inari. Guests can enjoy free parking and a beautiful setting surrounded by nature. There were enough utensils for cooking/heating up the food. The cabin we stayed in was in reach of WiFi. The views were amazing. Also near the river there is a fireplace, so if you have wood it is possible to make fire and enjoy it waiting for the aurora! The staff was kind and helpful☺️ We were able to see aurora from around our cabin and near lake! 🥹

Wilderness Hotel Juutua is located right on the banks of Juutua River, in the immediate vicinity of Inari village's services. The award-winning Restaurant Aanaar is located in Wilderness Hotel Juutua.... the food included in half board was an amazing 3-course meal everynight

Everything was so nice. The hotel is right in front of a lake and every room as lake view. In our case we had snow and the lake was frozen, but the area and the hotel offers plenty of activities for that weather. We were travelling with our little girl so we couldn't book a Aurora Borealis "hunt" but we were lucky enough to see the Aurora from our room at 10pm! It was so magical. I recommend this hotel and this trip to anyone that wants to disconnect and have amazing days in the nature.
