Great stay for a couple looking for a chilled out, relaxing, super clean place with hot tub. Very private. Loved the hot tub. Bed was very comfortable and the whole place was just lovely. First day we chilled in the lodge and hot tub with beer and Prosecco and ate dinner at the Plough. Can highly recommend, the food was lovely and 10% discount was added bonus. Second day we visited Alton Towers which was good fun but we looked forward to our return to go in the hot tub and relax our aching legs. Games and books were to hand in the cupboard but we just didn’t get time… we spent ages in the tub talking and reminiscing ❤️ it was our 22nd wedding anniversary and our hosts had kindly left us a card and bottle of cava which was very nice, kind and unexpected touch. Shower was good. Robes were provided, hairdryer too. You could easily cook a meal in the kitchenette and whilst small it has everything needed. We didn’t cook though as we ate out and had snacks and goodies for the evening. Super stay and highly recommended. We thought it exceptional value for money.

The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly and efficient. they really made us feel special at every touchpoint. The hotel is so quiet, in nature, really perfect to relax. All the food we had was delicious and they had a very large bar offer. The spa is great, hot spa pool, steam room, really good offer.

The highlight was definitely the hot tub — relaxing together under the stars with a glass of wine was pure magic. Everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and created the ideal setting for a romantic getaway. We left with unforgettable memories and can’t wait to return.

The location, pricacy, security and size of this was perfect. Arrival and access was very straightforward. Surrounded by beautiful gardens. The lounge and dining kitchen.We're very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and stopped with a good range of utensils. The range cooker was very easy to operate, and we were able to cook ourselves. Supermarkets were around 10 to 15 minutes away. So anything that will be required could easily be bought.
