The staff are so lovely and the Korean restaurant is so nice! Didn’t get to try the fire pit but I bet that would have been the same! It was a great stay and we’d definitely come back!

We had the most wonderful staycation at Bowood and would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff, food and facilities were all so fantastic. We saw so much wildlife while enjoying a coffee on the terrace, which added even more magic to our stay. We will be back for sure.

Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making... The breakfast and choice was absolutely amazing. The best we have had at a hotel. It was all fresh and constantly topped up. We had not planned to eat evening meals in the hotel, but the food was so good we ate there every night. The room too was fantastic, with plenty of space. Marc the concierge was very knowledgeable about the area and recommended some great walks suitable for us and the buses to get to them. The receptionists were also very welcoming showing us around the hotel and our room on arrival. The location of the hotel is good too, just a few minutes walk from the center and therefore not too noisy. A few days after we left I realised that I had left an expensive item of clothing behind. The hotel kindly arranged to post this home for me. We usually holiday in the Med but with the high temperatures we now get there during summer, decided to try the UK this year. We had such an enjoyable time will definitely be back next summer.

Situated on the edge of the idyllic Dartmoor National Park and just five minutes from Plymouth, the 5-star Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa features fantastic historic interiors and elegant rooms, and an... Our room was one of the Stable Rooms and it was absolutely lovely. The room was small but well-appointed and clean. The staff, especially Alex at reception and the bartenders were pleasant and accommodating....always with a warm smile. The grounds are gorgeous. We will be back!
