From the moment Fabrizio picked us up from the train station (great service!) to the moment we checked out and Fabrizio drove us back to the train station (amazingly considerate!), this was an amazing stay. Fabrizio and his son Luca personally handed over the keys and guided us through the amazing loft, which is modern, clean and comfortable - perfect for our family of four. The complimentary bottle of bubbly and the locally made pastries were another nice touch. And, of course, the views, which are sublime and even better in person than the beautiful photos you see on this listing. Waking up in the morning and activating the remote controlled curtain (another nice touch) to unveil this gorgeous landscape...absolutely priceless. And, as a bonus, enjoying the views again in the soft light of the evening from one of the two Jacuzzis...even better. We would stay here again in a heartbeat on a future trip to Stresa. One of the best lodging experiences I could imagine anywhere. Grazie mille, Fabrizio e Luca!

The staff is really kind and helpful and there was great and fast communication through Booking.com and WhatsApp. The room and bathroom were spotless. Also big plus for the rain shower. Would go visit this B&B again, if I ever get the chance.

Unbelievably gracious hostess, beautiful accommodations, wonderful lake view and literally steps to old town Stresa and the lakefront. It is everything that you could ask for.

Maccagno is a small, friendly village with ample bars and restaurants. Sole and Lago is beautiful. Davide built and designed the apartments to have privacy and to contain everything one needs in a modern, efficient living space; you get the WOW factor upon entering the apartment…then comes the view - absolutely gorgeous! Also, Davide is always available to assist with you anything you may need. My wife and I had a month’s stay and were extremely pleased with Davide, the apartment and Maccagno!

Casa Diverio nabízí terasu a ubytování s balkonem a bezplatným Wi-Fi. Borromejské ostrovy se nachází 1,8 km odtud. We had a lovely large airy one bed appartment. There was a mini market below for tea and milk and breakfast items. Very centrally placed in Stresa for shopping, eating and touring the islands. The lady was there to check us in as promised and she gave us all the information we needed for our stay. We were sorry to find that 3 November was the last day for the tourists trips to the 3 islands. We never thought to check this fact. We arrived about midday and were able to rush out and get a trip to just two of the islands which was great.

Really nicely located, well maintained property. Rooms are spacious, views are amazing, just outside the town of Mergozzo but close enough (10 min walk). Super friendly staff, nothing to dislike!

Although getting there from Stresa requires a winding road into the mountains, the location and the view are well worth it. Both the apartment and the surroundings are beautifully maintained and perfectly suited for a cozy stay. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming, helpful, and very kind. The breakfast is wonderful. The experience exceeded our expectations and it's a place you'd definitely want to return to.
