The location is amazing with wonderful lake views in a quiet area perched above the town. The units are modern and well appointed with an open sleeping loft and nice outdoor space. Breakfast is not provided except for coffee, however we made good use of the nicely appointed kitchen to prepare a number of meals. The town center of Stresa is a few minutes walk down the hill with a few more minutes coming up the hill. With only 4 units it is a great spot. Parking is included.

Staff were wonderful before and during our stay. Good communication and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh and locally sourced where possible. A delightful, tranquil location interrupted only by chimes from the bells from the local church (stops at night!), birdsong and cuckoo calls. Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.

Davide built and designed the apartments to have privacy and to contain everything one needs in a modern, efficient living space; you get the WOW factor upon entering the apartment…then comes the view - absolutely gorgeous! Also, Davide is always available to assist with you anything you may need. My wife and I had a month’s stay and were extremely pleased with Davide, the apartment and Maccagno!

You can really relax on your holiday!

Really nicely located, well maintained property. Rooms are spacious, views are amazing, just outside the town of Mergozzo but close enough (10 min walk). Super friendly staff, nothing to dislike!
