There is also a free public bath.

There are 2 indoor hot springs baths and an open-air bath at the property. Everything is excellent. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Bathroom facilities are shared, and the public baths are open 16:00-22:00 and 06:00-09:00 daily. It was an incredible stay, the place has a unique energy and the meditation, prayers and fire ceremony and the night tour of the cementery are very memorable. The food was one of the best we had in our trip - and it was vegan

The breakfast is simple and served at the cutest café run by a lovely elderly couple. Definitely recommend for a more personalised experience in Osaka.

The room is very clean, love the tub most. Love how bath and toilet are separated with a door.

Some units in the ryokan have private entrance and are equipped with wardrobe and tatami. Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The hotel is so beautiful and peaceful you almost don't want to leave. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We had the shabu shabu dinner and 2 Japanese style breakfasts which were cooked right in front of us by the lovely staff who we really enjoyed talking to. The location was only a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station but in a relatively quiet location, which was very much appreciated after the busy tourist spots of Kyoto. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely be returning if we are ever in Kyoto again.
