There are 2 indoor hot springs baths and an open-air bath at the property. Everything is excellent. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Rooms feature tatami-mat flooring, comfortable futon bedding and paper sliding screens. They are fitted with an LCD TV and a safe. Bathroom facilities are shared, and the public baths are open 16:00-22:00 and 06:00-09:00 daily. It was an incredible stay, the place has a unique energy and the meditation, prayers and fire ceremony and the night tour of the cementery are very memorable. The food was one of the best we had in our trip - and it was vegan

200 metres from Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art, 民宿 和合 Minshuku WAGO is a recently renovated property set in Tanabe and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. It is located 29 km from Kamitonda Concert Hall and features full-day security. The guest house has parking on-site, a hot tub and a shared kitchen. The host was excellent and made us feel very welcome after a tough and rainy hike. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing.

39 km from Kishi Station in Koyasan, 高野山 宿坊 光明院 -Koyasan Shukubo Komyoin- provides accommodation with access to a hot tub. It is situated 45 km from Matsushita Park and offers luggage storage space. The ryokan features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. It was such an amazing, unique experience. The monks are most welcoming and accommodating. Ryokan style rooms with futons, which can be a bit hard, as expected (part of the experience). The place looks incredible, still attains so much history and ancient culture within its walls. It was incredible to be a part of that for a bit and attending the ceremonies was the highlight of our stay.

It was very pleasant to stay at Surf Imin G-Sun. The room was very organized and clean. There is a charger, a lamp and a little fan for every bed. The quality of the accomodation/price ratio is very great. Takaji, the owner was fun and nice. We enjoyed our stay even if it was rainy. The beach, which is very close, is very fun and beautiful. There was a lot of people surfing there. Don’t hesitate to book, you will not regret it!

The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is 40 km from Subaru Hall. The guest house features family rooms. We loved our stay with the exceptionally kind and helpful couple. It’s a remote village up a steep mountain road, with a great bar next door! The food was delicious. We enjoyed chatting to the hosts. We had a trip to Mt Koyasan and got drenched in a rain storm. The kind hosts dried our shoes in a special Japanese machine!

The highlight was definitely the monks who were so kind. Very very grateful to the young Swedish monk who took his time to explain his journey and answered all our questions, helping our immersion in the beautiful culture surrounding esoteric buddhism, this temple and Koyasan as a whole. Highly recommended!

The property is allergy-free and is situated 1.3 km from Tanabe Ogigahama Beach. Very good location! Close to the station as well as multiple restaurants. The owner was also very kind and accommodating. I left something in the bathroom after checkout and one of their staff was so kind and came all the way to the station to look for me. Absolutely recommend this place!
