Marvellous views over the nearby lake, just slightly spoiled by the fact that a drought had left it nearly empty. Service was superb with tremendous attention to detail. I enjoyed the meals, both the buffet breakfast and dinner, each of which provided a very wide choice. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. A memorable place to stay.

We had an fantastic experience staying at Sigiriya cashew palace resort for three days. It is well located in a quite area and has only a few rooms. The rooms a spacious and new, well maintained and with a big bath room. There is a minibar and coffee and tea in the room. The resort is a nice garden with many trees and a beautiful pool to relax. The staff is overly friendly and go up and beyond to make your stay as positive as possible. They have a own Safari cheap and offer well priced tours to all surrounding parks. Food was delicious too, we had both breakfast and dinner at the place. I would definitely recommend this small resort for some relaxing days and for sightseeing in the Sigiriya area. We will come again.

Anu was extremely kind and cute and help us giving us many information about our trip, Pianta brought us around the city with his tuktuk and let us discover the local part of the city. He even shared fruits and veggies from his own orchard and garden – so fresh and delicious! The room is big, very new, and you can tell he put a lot of thought into making it comfortable. Would definitely stay here again – perfect spot for visiting Sigiriya!
