We loved our stay and will definitely go back. Apart from long travel time to Koh Lipe, this hotel makes it worth bumping up and down in a speedboat for. The accommodation is well-maintained and highly-function, they offered the in-room kitchen (microwave and electric stoves with all the kitchenettes) where you could at least reheat your buy-in meals or even make a light cook. The bathroom with walk-in closet was super cozy and large, a little minus point for the smell from the sewage in the restroom area. We loved the room, the attentiveness of staff, the food despite its very high price (their southern Thai menus were the best we have ever had and were the best of the whole 7 days trip). This hotel would definitely costs you dearly even they are not the famous chain 5 stars, but it worths every single baht I had spent. Kudos to all the staff, from the pier pick-up, front desk, maid, and the restaurant & bar. We had a splendid moment to cherish and remember there.

We stayed 4 nights at Akira Lipe as a family (2 adults and 3 children), and overall it was a fantastic experience. The resort is beautiful, the facilities are great, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Just a small note for Muslim families: the hotel is not particularly Muslim-friendly, though still acceptable. Alcohol and pork are served, which is understandable in a mixed resort setting. However, during breakfast, special attention should be given to food handling. For example, utensils used for pork and eggs are often mixed, and it would be appreciated if the hotel could make an effort to separate them – especially by providing dedicated utensils for halal-friendly items. Apart from this, everything else was top-notch – a great stay in a beautiful setting.

The staff was so sweet and all the food was fresh and good. Good rooms with no noisy hallway. The best breakfast!

Perched atop a scenic cliff, west of Ko Lipe, The Cliff Lipe offers a restaurant serving fresh seafood. Great location away from any crowds. Only a short 'taxi' ride into town, or take a 15-20 min walk to get there if it's not too hot. Private beach was really nice, lots of snorkeling straight off the shore and kayaks etc. available. Staff also organized a snorkeling day trip for us and some other guests on a longtail which was well worth it. Monkeys nearby could be a pro/con, as they were fun to watch and fairly respectful (as far as monkeys go), just beware not to leave belongings outside.

We booked very early so we got an amazing deal, therefore the value was incredible. The room by the pool was clean and the staff was amazing. The site is well kept with mature trees and nature.
