Breakfast was good. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the whirlpool. We thought the lobby was beautiful, and it has a lovely view of the lake. We loved that.

Located in Lake Placid, The Whiteface Lodge is 2.4 km from Lake Placid and is 2.2 km from Mirror Lake. My wife and I went to the Whiteface Lodge for our mini-moon, right after our wedding in November. Our stay was incredible - the room size was massive, and the bed and living area were very comfortable and well appointed. The guest facilities were amazing (including a small gym and game room, hot-tub and indoor pool), and the food at the restaurants was delicious. We really enjoyed the included breakfast every morning, and the complimentary cookies! We went during the off season so it was extremely quiet and peaceful during our trip, which we really appreciated and needed. Will be going back again!

Overlooking Mirror Lake and providing stunning mountain views, this Lake Placid hotel features an on-site restaurant and completely non-smoking guestrooms furnished with microwaves and... The hotel is on a small hill with a beautiful lake view. We enjoyed sitting on the grass with a glass of wine. The staff was helpful and informative, spacious room, nice gym, good breakfast, overall we had a great time.

It's a wonderful Lodge/hotel. Exceeded our expectations. It is situated in such a stunning area by lake. Outside the Lodge, lots of different outdoor activities, like golf, netball, chess , swimming by the lake or the pool! No extra pay like some places do. They also have a sitting area with the fire pit lit outside so guests can make marshmallows and relax. Some nights musicians play live music. The staff were friendly and the food was lovely. I have to mention, " Schroon Lodge famous cookies." I believe the staff are making them every afternoon for people who stay at the Lodge. They were amazing! So thoughtful.

Breakfast was good room was very clean and nice bed was comfortable as well.

There is a hiking trail through the forest 10 minutes from the hotel. I recommend it!!!
