We even decided we needed a break from eating out and the well-appointed mini-kitchen in our room had everything we needed. This made for a very relaxing evening

Located 1 mile from Acadia National Park, Acadia Inn has an on-site trail that accesses the park. Cannot think of anything that could have been better! All comforts imaginable, big comfortable beds and rooms, self service laundry, a huge help on a weeks’ long trip, outdoor pool and a jacuzzi, beautiful outdoor space for the kids and adults alike with lots of toys provided. Evenings around the fire pit making s’mores, an amazing experience for our kids coming from Europe, having never done it before of course. A nice breakfast too. Complimentary treats all day long, snacks and lemonade in the lobby. Above all, the care we received from the staff, unbelievably nice and helpful all of them. We stayed in multiple hotels during our stay in the US and I cannot understand how Acadia Inn only earned its three stars! Our stay at the Inn was a straight five star experience!

Nestled in the centre of historic Stowe, Vermont, this hotel features a sauna, massage therapy services and afternoon tea. Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory is 14.1 km away. Beautiful old style buildings providing very comfortable spacious rooms! Nicely decorated too. Wonderful staff, excellent location. Definitely worth staying here.

Buffet breakfast was fantastic (and on a Tuesday morning, when other reviews said this wasn’t available).

We felt right away like we were at home. The farm and its environment are really peaceful and our kids enjoyed petting the dogs and horses. Too bad we had to leave!
