The hotel staff (managers to receptionists to concierge) ensured that our comfort was top priority - we were a family of 5 with three teenagers. They were kind enough to allow us early check in 3 hours before (they didn't have to; thank you once again). At each interaction with the staff they went above and beyond to ensure guests comfort. We stayed at Meritel Hotel in June 2024, and it served as a base point for our adventures in the Northern Vietnam. The location is very advantageous, all the principal tourist attractions are within walking distance. Despite the pretty active street life, the rooms were really quiet. The breakfast is respectable, there are options for both local cuisine enthusiasts and more traditional people. The room was great, with incredibly comfortable beds and a clean and beautiful bathroom with hot water. The staff were very helpful, and they helped us prepare and print our documents to apply for a visa. The hotel was very centrally located, in the old town and with lots of restaurants around.
