We had a wonderful holiday in the newly built villa (lodge 9), just above the lodges. Our personal highlight of the Garden Route! We travelled about 4 hours from Cape Town, the arrival and departure was absolutely smooth! (I would suggest a car) The villas are situated on a large area, surrounded by buffalo, various antelope species and also 2 rhinos! We were able to observe the animals at close quarters around the clock. The villas are incredibly beautiful, with a hot tub on the terrace, outdoor showers and barbecue areas and even a pizza oven! In principle, the villas are self-catering, there is a small self-service shop on the premises, and you can also order various food boxes (barbecues, burgers, pizza) and have them delivered - all highly recommended! Another small highlight was the guided tour with the owner of the farm around the grounds followed by breakfast. We felt very comfortable and welcome. The Botelierskop Game Reserve is also nearby (about 20 minutes) and is also recommended if you want to go on further safaris. We were completely satisfied and would definitely come again, 10/10!

Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. We love it all. Beautiful rooms. Friendly people and good food. If you want to treat yourself this is the place to go. Very special. It was our 4th visit.

Garden Route Game Lodge se nachází v blízkosti města Albertinia a nabízí výhled na pohoří Langeberg. Hotel je obklopený bujnou vegetací a často se mohou setkávat s různými zvířaty. Everything was wonderful, the breakfast and dinner were great, the safari was amazing as well, we saw the big 5, even though it’s a small reserve compared to others, the animals were scattered and it was difficult to find them. Lovely experience, will definitely come again.
