Great bathroom with jacuzzi bath in the rear portion of the tent. The hosts cooked a lovely dinner and breakfast. The Swartzberg Pass and Cango caves are very close by and both worth doing if you're in the area.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful and delivered us a bag of ice to save us a drive into the nearest town. The drive leading to/from the accommodation was stunning, with fun windy roads.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Duckpond Lodge! From the moment we arrived, Richard went above and beyond to make our visit truly special. He was incredibly communicative leading up to our stay and took extra care to arrange thoughtful gifts for a special birthday celebration, which was such a delightful surprise. The lodge itself was charming, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations, and it’s clear that Richard genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. We couldn’t recommend Duckpond Lodge more and will definitely be returning!

Wann, the farm manager, and his son, Yusuf, went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. I cannot fault anything - the yellow bus was a totally unique and comfortable home from home for us.
