Excellent information leading up to the stay. Wonderful welcome gifts like freshly baked bread, farm churned butter and delicious fresh farm milk. Just fulfilled the experience for our family. Ouhout Cottage was spacious, rustic yet tastefully decorated and clean. Staff were polite and assisted in any manner or form. The Farm Stall was a delight and were privileged to watch them milk the cows up front. Well worth it, book early to avoid disappointment. Professionally run establishment which only lends to a better experience.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Cooperleigh. It was exactly what we needed for a family weekend catch up. We live abroad and came back to South Africa for some travels and to meet up with family and wanted to do an early family Christmas dinner and Ashleigh even arranged for a Christmas tree and lights for us which was so lovely and unexpected. The house was very clean with all the cooking and cleaning utensils you could need. Anything else we needed Ashleigh was just a message away and happy to help. He kept us informed about the loadshedding schedule and helped with back up power if we needed it. The views are lovely and the walks in the area are beautiful. Inhlazane mountain is nearby as well and was a fantastic little hike. The midlands meander is not far and it's easy to explore the cute cafes and galleries in the area. I would highly recommend this property.

The pictures don’t do the property justice. Every room was huge, well designed and so comfortable. It was exceptionally clean, soft wonderful bedding with lots of attention to detail. The owners have really thought of everything. There are so many areas to relax in. The outside area was magnificent, an entertainers dream. The setting and views were spectacular, so calming and beautiful . Beauty and Mary on site were wonderful, super friendly and helpful. Gem of a place with super value for money. Definitely going back!!!

Exceptionally beautiful apartment, the location was country and scenic the apartment was very private and very beautiful. We had the most lovely stay with plentiful of every aspect that could be met was met, from the hot chocolate to the beautiful fireplace and comfortable sleep. A definite return to Aloes that we look forward to!
