I have stayed at the Mariposa Hotel before. It is a lovely hotel with pleasant staff and nice rooms. The best bit is the lovely rooftop terrace for sitting out during the day or for drinks in the evening when the bar opens. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. It is in a great location just walking distance from the old town, Playa de la Malaguetta beach and and lots of cafes, coffee shops and restaurants so we preferred to go out for breakfast.

Good location if you are coming by car and want to stay close to the airport. Otherwise the surroundings are quite industrial. 15+min with taxi to the city center. New hotel so facilities are good. The pool & bar at the top floor is nice a addition. Helpful & friendly staff. Breakfast was simple but good!

The hotel has great location, is very clean and quiet. Facilities are excellent, breakfast was great. The best part of this hotel was its staff. Especially one lady at the reception desk, who helped with a very important matter - I’d like to personally thank her for being such a great person and doing her job professionally.
