I enjoyed my staying here. I especially want to thank a gentleman staff. While I was waiting for a taxi in front of the hotel with all my bags, a stranger came to me to ask me to be cautious. I was very nervous because of the situation and a gentleman in from the hotel came out to solve the problem for me.

**Title: An Unforgettable Stay at El Palace Barcelona** We recently had the pleasure of staying at El Palace in Barcelona for three nights, and it was truly our best stay ever. From the moment we arrived, everything was close to perfection. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the accommodations were not only luxurious but also equipped with modern technology that made our stay even more enjoyable. The quality of the food was outstanding, offering a delightful culinary experience that we will not soon forget. However, what truly set our experience apart was the incredible staff. Every member of the team was kind, extremely helpful, and genuinely friendly. Their personal approach made us feel welcomed and valued, and we appreciated the little touches that made our stay special. As we left, we felt a mix of sadness and warmth in our hearts, knowing that we had found a home away from home. For our next trip to Barcelona, we won’t need to search for accommodation again—we already know where to go! Thank you to everyone at El Palace for making our stay so memorable. The warm greetings of "Hola, buenas días, buenas tardes" from the staff still resonate in our minds, and we can’t wait to return!

Everything… we were greeted and felt welcome the moment we reach the doorsteps. Couldn’t speak highly enough and highly recommend to those who shortlisting this wonderful hotel. We had an issue with our air conditioning on the last night at 11pm, we called the front desk and within 15 minutes turn around, they move us to another room to ensure we resume our resting for the night. Sagrada Familia

A large Wari village, Pikillaqta was mysteriously abandoned in 1100 AD and soon after set ablaze. Despite ancient attempts at arson, the site is still wonderfully intact. You’ll wander the streets and plazas amongst temples, communal buildings, homes and storage structures – some of the buildings an impressive 4-storeys high!

The Sagrada Família is a truly magnificent piece of architecture- a breathtaking masterpiece unlike anything else. Its design, details, and atmosphere make it an absolutely wonderful temple to experience. You don’t necessarily need to go up the towers - it’s even better to take your time exploring the interior. The inside is stunning, full of light, color, and incredible details that make the visit unforgettable.

The English tour was great.

The English tour was great. You will be able to understand Anthony Gaudi and what he was thinking of during that time. His love for God and Nature and God's creation as seen in Sagrada. Take note if you are a Senior citizen do not take the towers tour. There are some areas which are not lighted and would be hard for a Senior citizen to do.

Book this one in advance.

Book this one in advance. You cannot get in without a reservation. Direct booking on the official website is pretty easy.. Later in the afternoon 6.30 is a good time. The lights are brilliant through the stained glass. This is one of Gaudi sites worth every penny. Again just don't be late because I know some people who missed reservation were denied. Be prepared for airport style security. But it is quick with your times slot. Once inside you can use the free audiophile to be downloaded from Sagrada Familia website when reserving a slot. There will be crowds at times. However, you can take rest break sitting quietly in pews so the ladies with the flags and 50 people tour groups go away five minutes later. Lol

The church is excellent and very beautiful.

The church is excellent and very beautiful. But as the tower is in construction, is very difficult to see the view and to return from upstairs is by foot in difficult steps till the ground. I do not recomend going to the tower.

This was a perfect set up for an extended family of 3 generations. 3 bedrooms were large double beds (1 had an ensuite). The fourth had 2 singles. The host also had a travel cot for our baby. The living space was great for us all to sit in and lots of space for the 2 youngest of the group to crawl. The apartment building is between 2 grocery stores, which was great for sorting breakfast. It is a 5min walk to Sagrada Familia and the metro link there. Absolutely perfect for what our fanoly needed. Thank you so much!!

We had an amazing stay at this duplex apartment with a stunning view of the Sagrada Família. The location was absolutely perfect — waking up every morning with that iconic view felt magical. The apartment was spotless, modern, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Spacious, bright, and beautifully designed. The host was very helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Barcelona — truly exceptional!”

The whole hotel and the rooms in particular are of very modern design. The room is smallish but very functional, the bathroom as well with nice high pressure shower. The lobby has a very atmospheric feel to it and the staff were helpful. We spent very little time at the hotel so cannot say about breakfast or other amenities. The location was very suitable for us within walking distance from Sagrada Familia and some nice brunch spots.

We wanted a nice getaway to explore Barcelona in the afternoon and night. This hotel was the perfect location, with also a private indoor parking for the car. The bigger attractions like the Sagrada Familia and the Arc de Triomph, as well as the old town (Gothic Quarter), were on walking distance. The room was quiet and cosy. We had the perfect time.

If you visit Goudi's Battlo house do so after doing the Barcelona tourist bus trip (buy tickets from the underground Information office (good english plus you can get Sagrada familia tickets for a timed entrance thus avoiding the queues) in Pl Catalunya next to El Corte Ingles){ same ticket can be used on red, blue and green routes although green is all but worthless} and along with ticket/s you get a discount booklet incl 3 Euro off the price of Battlo (21euro entry) which you can then spend on the audio/visual tablet which shows you the furniture which was in each room, desks, tables/chairs and altar etc which greatly enhances the understanding of this dragon house. It also shows where Goudi developed some of the ideas used in the Sagrada Familia. The opportunity to have your photo taken (10 euro photo or 13 euro photo + digital download ) from the highest sharks mouth balcony should be taken as it will probably be one of the few which includes everyone rather than excludes the one holding the camera.
