We felt so welcome as soon as we walked through the door, surrounded by colour and technology. our room wasn't quite ready so we had a drink in the lobby. The concierge took us up to our room, which was really comfortable and lit with low level hidden lighting. There was plenty of wardrobe space for clothes with ironing board and hair dryer. Dressing gowns were provided, along with slippers, complimentary touches to help make our stay .memorable. The staff were all very friendly and couldn't do enough to answer questions about where to go and where to eat. We ate in the Bronze restaurant on the first night, and the food was excellent. the service impeccable. The American breakfast is served here. You can even see the Acropolis from here. what a lovely place to come back to after a day's sightseeing. We will certainly be happy to stay here again

From the moment we arrived (very early :)) to the moment we left we had the best experiance we could ever have thought from the staff, rooms and all the amazing facilities this central hotel has to offer. The breakfast was very good and the girls worked so hard in difficult circumstances as on Sunday morning the whole hotel got up together :) the girls coped with it fabulously. The boys and girls on the pool bar/restuarnt work so hard to keep you all cool and happy and the guys at night make the most amazing cocktails. We went to athens to watch coldplay which was the most amazing experiance of a life time and Hotel fresh was the perfect place to stay. The owners/management of this hotel should be very proud of their staff and thereself. I am a hotelier myself and I'm picky, you exceeded all my expectations. It was a lovely stay for our honeymoon. Thank you again for your wishes and the surprise — the card was such a thoughtful detail, and we’ll keep it as a special memory. We also really enjoyed the breakfast; it was delicious, and the chef was very kind and highly skilled. The front desk staff were also very helpful. The location was perfect as well — very close to the center, which made walking everywhere easy. Thank you very much for everything.

Plenty of graffiti and broken streets, homeless people and...

Plenty of graffiti and broken streets, homeless people and drug addicts passed out on the street with syringes and everything in between. Walk on the the main avenues and you are fine or take a taxi from the square /station when you first get there with your luggage. It is not worth the hassle of figuring out where to go.

Don't waste your time visiting Athens. It's a dump. Graffiti is everywhere. There were people openly taking drugs in the street. We booked to take an open top bus ride for my wife's birthday. The bus traveled for one stop and told all the passengers to get off as he had finished work for the day (at 4pm !). Thousands of tourists trying to see the ancient attractions. No consideration given to the wellbeing of people queuing for hours in really hot weather. Don't go to Athens. It seems the Greeks have lost all pride in their capital. Go to places where you are treated best, certainly not this dump.

In all honesty, stay safe in this area. We had a couple of scary situations occur that made us feel unsafe in this area so be cautions of yourself and your belongings. Stay aware of your surroundings!

Stay away! I was there with my family including kids.

Stay away! I was there with my family including kids. This is a very rough area of Athens. You do not want to expose your kids, or yourself for that matter, to this misery. Openly shooting heroin in the streets and homeless destitute souls on every corner. It is a picture of the hard reality a poor country will suffer through when getting even poorer. You will get many chances to give a small sum to the many beggars around Omonia Square, I guess every little helps. There are more tranquil areas in Athens.

The apartment is clean, neatly organized and quiet. It is in the very center of Athens and there are abundant shops and restaurants nearby. It is 3-to-4 minute walk from the Syntagma Metro station and 5-minute walk from the express bus stop to and from the Athens airport. You can also walk to Omonia square and National Archaeologgical Museum. Communication by the owner is superb. Their English is very good and response is punctual and clear which kept us assured. Check in is easy (we opened the keybox using the code sent by the owner).

Very friendly male staff who went out of their way day and night to assist and serve us. They treated us as if we were their grandparents. Excellent location with city bus stop just across the street and Omonia Square only 1 km away. A supermarket also close by. Super breakfast with many options and served in a nice room by very friendly staff.

My reservation was without breakfast. The zone was under constructions, but very near with Omonia square and Monastiraki. So you could easy take metro or walking. The building was new, very good bed, water and café on room. The bathroom very nice and towels super clean.

Avoid Omonia square and it's surroundings at night especially if you are women. Be careful with the cabs, some of them are rude and try to make you pay crazy rates.
