The palace is very quiet and cozy it feels like home. Well located, very nice view, and garden. The food is very pleasant, the chef is very talented he made the food experience very good. We booked half-board (breakfast and dinner). The staff were very friendly, literally everyone even the planters guy’s. Everyone is smiling.

Outstanding accomodation with stunning views. Wonderful service by the owners, we could not have been looked after better. Best property we stayed at in Sri Lanka. Owner even organised our dinner for us. So comfortable. Loved it.

It's an English style park - and not a particularly good one...

It's an English style park - and not a particularly good one. If you've travelled from UK you've probably got one just as nice in your home town. For the entrance fee you do at least avoid the main road for some of the walk from Gregory Lake to the town centre.
