The staff - friendly and helpful. The view from our room of the Auckland waterfront was jaw-dropping. The sommelier in the bar was really helpful in making sure we got a wine that was exactly to our tastes. We were happy to find it was a short stroll to the Australian Maritime museum.

Perfect location, right in the heart of the Viaduct. Within walking distance of a full range of bars and restaurants. Even with the location, it was so quiet you could have been in the middle of the suburbs. The beds were comfortable and the robes had a luxury feel. The bath was huge and a real treat. An eclectic range of vinyl records were available to listen to.

After a long fight (17 hrs) we arrived at 5:50 am. Was expecting to drop luggage. Staff offered us to freshen up. Shampoo, soap and towels provided and opened up shower facilities. This was beyond the call of duty and very greatly appreciated. Kudos to the staff. Thank you once again. As soon as the room was ready, received a message. This is excellent service.
