Hotels near Shen-ao Fishing Harbour, Jiufen

The property was very modern & clean. I loved the water stations outside the room, we had a choice of cold, temperate or sparkling water. A plus for this hotel was the self serve laundry where we were able to wash our own clothes instead of roaming around town trying to find a laundromat. Plus easy car parking stops close to the town . Great place to stay when weather is not pleasant!!

We had a short but wonderful stay (just 1 night). The location is fantastic, very close to Old Street. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everything was absolutely spotless, and the breakfast was prepared with so much love. Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel. Staf is very friendly, hotel nice and it is central locaded. If you come by car, you have to be very brave and a good driver, streets are narrow (only one car can drive but it is not an one way) and steep

Clean rooms with beautiful view. Tea and a tea set is also available in the room to enjoy the view with. Host was really kind to help us find the property. Very happy with our one night stay and would recommend this place! Getting to the parking is a bit challenging with narrow and steep road but already nice to have a parking space in the town :)

The view was wonderful. Despite not having elevator, the staff assisted to bring my luggage to the room. There was a summary of their recommendations and amenities for the vicinity which made choosing a simple task.

1. The room was very spacious, clean and cozy. We had a very comfortable stay. 2. True to the description, the room was big, had a refrigerator, hot/cold water dispenser, kitchenette/sink, hot water for bathing, cable tv and aircon. Everything worked great. 3. The landlady was very courteous, kind and generous: she gave us a room with two beds for the same rate. 4. There were lots of free stuff in the room. There were sachets of coffee and candies. There were mugs for coffee too. In the bathroom, there were sachets of bath gels, soaps, shampoos, toothbrush, comb, shaver, cotton buds for ears, and tissues. 5. I loved the location! The view outside the window was very nice - a view of the park, the river and a mountain in the background. It's also near Ruifang train station, food court, and other shops like Coco, Pizza Hut, 711, FamilyMart, etc. 6. Accessible. We went to the city and other places like Jiufen during the day, and our travel to and fro our room in Ruifang was easy via train, bus, and taxi. The transportation was great too. Very helpful people at the stations. 7. Very private and secured. The main door had a passcode to enter. After climbing the stairs to our room on the second floor, we used a key to open the door to our room. 8. Communicative landlady. The auntie was very easy to communicate with. I used this app to message her if I need anything. She was very responsive via this app since the start when I booked weeks before I came. * Note: english speaking guests can use a translator like Google Translate or DeepL when needed. The landlady can respond well in english in writing, but may have difficulty responding when in a call/direct oral conversation. 9. The pillow cases, sheets and bath towels were all very clean and scentless. The bathroom was huge and clean. Everything was clean. 10. Overall, we loved our stay here at Orange House in Ruifang! When I visit Taiwan again in the future, I will surely stay here again.
