Raul and Ceila were great hosts and explained a lot about the local culture. The room had an awesome view with a porch right next to the water. We were not cold in the night because Raul provided us with hot water bottles for under the blankets. There was also a gas heater available. We really enjoyed our stay and it is a great place to relax a bit.

We stayed only one night, coming from Copacabana, but we would have loved to stay longer. Leonardo organised us a taxi from the port to the private pier and picked us up with his boat, although we arrived quite late. His wife Lina welcomed us with a nice dinner. The next day we rented their kayak to have a look around the Isles and relaxed on the Isle. The room had a huge and comfortable bed with a view over the lake, the shower was big and had warm water and they gave us hot water bottles in case we got cold during the night. They both do beautiful handicraft work. We would come again.

We were very impressed by the fact that the family built their own island, their own home, and most of the furniture and decorations in the home, all with a lot of thoughts, beauty and love. The bedroom is very cosy despite having glass walls on two sides. We could walk out to a lovely sheltered, outdoor bed to watch sunset. There are two toilets, one wet and one dry, which was not a problem once we got used to it. Juan, Amalia and their kids are some of the loveliest people we have met. They were very accommodating even when we had a miscommunication and arrived 4 hours too early. In the evening Amalia and the kids sang us some songs before their bedtime and Juan had prepared some hot water bags for our bed We had the best time here and will never forget this family. We highly recommend this place.

Isak and his family welcomed us with an open heart. They picked us up in the harbour and took us to their island. The lodge is beautiful, very spacious, the bed is huge and the views were incredible. There is a heater if you are cold. Upon request thay take care of a great breakfast and dinner and take you for a boatride around the islands. They helped us arrange a transfer to Taquile island as well. For the communication Spanish is necessary.

Our room was of an excellent standard with a very comfy king size bed. We also enjoyed sitting out on our porch, watching the sunset was really special. Eduardo and family were so helpful and friendly and the food provided was delicious. We stayed only one night but would recommend two nights if you have time.

Great location! The room was not expensive compared to other lodges nearby. The hot water bottles were helpful to keep our bed warm the whole night, amazingly till the morning. The people were very friendly and helpful.

Very immersive and wonderful experience. Uros lodges are located far from touristic rush of Puno and we had a great opportunity to see the daily life of Miguel and his family - they were all very nice, friendly and very helpful. Also, they provided us with great food, took us fishing, gave us sorojchi pills when we did not feel great because of high altitude and much much more. Highly recommend to everyone!
