From the moment your game drive Ranger picks you up from Eastgate Airport until they bring you back, they do EVERYTHING to make your experience unique. Our Ranger and our Tracker, Milton and Pardon were amazing, explaining all the details of the animal world, stars, winds, traces, trees, plants etc. Their knowledge and expertise that we got to watch the big 5, a crocodile kill, 2 lion kills and a leopard kill. They are amazing guides and even better people. The rest of the staff was very welcoming and pleasant. The chef prepared extraordinary menus for each of the days, the food was superb.

This was our favourite from all our accomodations we've stayed in South Africa and here's why: - Jenny & Ruan are amazing hosts that go above & beyond to make your stay memorable - Beautiful interior design of the lodge with a unique touch. They've done everything by themselves and I would immediately hire them as my interior architects :-) - Wonderful garden with great views of the Drakensberg mountains. Bushbabies might even stop by for a visit in the evening! - Possibility to do Safaris right around the corner (Ruan is also a trained guide) - Place to go for wine lovers, Ruan is also a professional in the wine field! - Breakfast is freshly prepared and delicious! We loved the fresh fruits and Musli as well as the delicious Omelettes. Also they prepared dinner just for the two of us and it was a very nice and romantic dinner!

With garden views, Sunbirds Oasis Lodge is set in Hoedspruit and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace.

WOW - where should I start? Super pleasant and uncomplicated communication with the lodge. Warm welcome, sensational support, assistance is always offered on every topic. The breakfast was incredible - not only was it presented in a first-class manner, it was also super freshly prepared. the atmosphere of the lodge with its attention to the smallest detail is unbelievable! we felt welcome and at home from the very first second - the reality is even better than the pictures suggest! Thank you very much for this great experience - we enjoyed every second and are already looking forward to our next trip to South Africa.
