We enjoyed our stay at the Mist at Cape Tribulation tremendously. The eco-luxe pavilion we stayed in was well-designed, clean and close to the amenities such as restaurants, Madja, Kulki boardwalks, and Thornton’s Beach lookout. In the evening, we also enjoyed sitting on the day-bed at the verandah, observing the sights and sounds of the floral and fauna of the Daintree Rainforest. Lilian and Kim were excellent hosts — hospitable, warm and friendly.

From the moment we got to the property , we were greeted by the owners who were lovely and very helpful. Hut itself was clean tidy with an awesome outside shower. Communal kitchen is set by the creek with some great views.

Gunnadoo Holiday Hut with Ocean Views and Jacuzzi se může pochlubit výhledem na moře a nabízí zahradu, terasu a vybavení pro grilování. Mossman Gorge se nachází přibližně 16 km odtud. We loved the tropical forest that surrounds Gunnadoo Hut and the wonderful views from the deck. It was so scenic and peaceful. It was great to relax in the jacuzzi at the end of the day. The accommodation was very cosy and welcoming with nice decor and the outdoor barbeque area was well-equipped. The owner, Gigi, was very friendly and advised us to back into the driveway to the Hut. The driveway was steep as advised by Gigi, so you need an SUV with AWD or a 4WD with low range.

This is a truly lovely and unique spot in the lovely little village of Daintree. Our comfortable room overlooked the Daintree river so we had front row seats for bird watching and views to the lovely scenery. The outdoor shared kitchen with table to dine overlooking the river is an added bonus. Michael the host is super friendly and keen to share ideas to view wildlife etc. Incredible seeing all those flying foxes on the tree by the property. This was a very special place we will not forget.
