I would recommend getting food in the house itself because it was so delicious. Plus: you get to have dinner with a view that looks like a painting!

The property was really clean and the staffs were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at this hotel was the best during our trip. We also enjoyed the pool with the beautiful scenery view of the mountains and hills.

For us it was an amazing week that we did not expect the peace of the place, and the ease of getting around. Asela drove us to Kandy any time, we didn't know is was so close, and the drive so easy. It was actually nicer for us to be out of the city and Ascela took us around at a very low cost, we used messaging and always on time to meet us. Restaurants are interesting in town but we enjoyed eating at the home-stay because the food was very very good & healthy, such a beautiful place to look over the valley & their own vegetable & herb garden! We liked going on walks, magnificent views, and Asela actually gave us a little hiking tour! In Kandy, there are tourists like us- at Tedro we had privacy, but also felt part of the community when we took walks. There is a TV but we never used it. We will be back, some day, and we do recommend this precious experience to anyone that wants good food, good sleep (the bed is great, view is really nice) access to town& the sights. In fact, we ended up going on a longer excursion to Siguria with Asela as our driver! He kindly got us there and back safeley, and gave us a lot of space for personal privacy as we did our own exploring. He is a very good guide and his family - downstairs from the room & porches - is respectful.

Even though you are a bit lost you have everything you need. Food is delicious. Highly recommend you to visit this place for an authentic experience. Also you might be guided by a very cute and incredible dog named Rocky who will take care of you. One of our best experience in Sri Lanka as regard to enjoy the nature and food.
