The accommodation was perfect. We were even able to change rooms without any problems and the family who owned it was very nice. They kept looking after our son so that we could eat in peace. Our second time to udawalawa and can not fault anything with respect to our stay at jungle safari cottage and our safaris within the park. hotel offers outstanding service and excellent food. On top of that its conveniently located near the park.

Peacock Riverside Eco Lodge se encuentra a 12 km de Parque nacional Udawalawe y ofrece alojamiento conjardín, restaurante y servicio de habitaciones. We went for the safari, we stayed in a very rural area surrounded by nature to make the experience even better. On arrival we were offered a cooking class in the evening which was excellent. Sujee and his wife are so lovely and he is so knowledgeable about the safari. The hotel itself is very well built and kept and high quality. We went on a all day safari from around 10am, lunch included, and saw so much on the day, I would highly recommend a longer safari if you can afford it as it’s really worth it.

We were a family of five with adult children and had the whole villa for ourselves, and the experience was amazing! The villa is newly built and everything felt brand new but yet very familiar with Ishan heading a super attentive and nice staff. The views are breathtaking over the surrounding mountains, with a small river pond on the property to take a refreshing dip into (together with the small fish givning you a interesting fish spa experience). We just felt blessed staying in this tranquille environment, enjoying excellent food and just hanging out together. It was definitely more than worth the bumpy ride up to this place. Big thanks to Ishan with staff that made this an extraordinary experience.

Kasun the owner is one of the nicest guys ever - so kind, helpful and goes above and beyond to assist in every need. Watermelon on arrival, fresh coconut on departure, organised safari, prepared yummy breakfast included in the price, relaxed check out timing....the list goes on! The villa was stunning, way better than the pictures. The garden is stunning and my son loved running around discovering all the plants, wildlife and fruits. El matrimonio que lo lleva son geniales y muy divertidos. Nada más llegar nos enseñaron como se abre un coco y nos dieron un pequeño paseo por los alrededores. Fueron super atentos y serviciales, se ve que le gusta su trabajo. Si alguna vez volvemos no dudaremos en repetir!!!
