We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this special eco lodge! The hosts have created a little paradise with so much dedication and hard work – natural, cozy cabins surrounded by nature that make you feel at home right away. The food was delicious and lovingly prepared, the safari perfectly organized and full of unforgettable impressions. A real highlight was the walk through the beautiful surroundings of the lodge, which the hosts kindly offered free of charge – such a valuable and personal experience. You can feel the passion and care in every detail. We are truly grateful for the warm hospitality and the unforgettable time. Wholeheartedly recommended!

I believe this guest house is ideal for people doing a Wilpattu Safari: - it is located right next to the park entrance. - it is not luxurious, but who needs a luxurious hotel if you are going to spend the entire day on safari anyway? - the AC worked great, the bed slept well and it has an ensuite shower and toilet. - they were happy to supply lunch and breakfast for the safari, and prepare dinner as well. I ate very well there. - the hostess was very kind and happy to help with questions. - if you are lucky you may already spot some animals from your window! I saw a wild peacock and monkeys. But apparently elephants also sometimes roam through nearby fields.
