The rustic and ecological Tesoro Escondido Ecolodge Cabinas offers accommodation in Bluff Beach. Located in a secluded area of Colon. Bocas Town is 5 km from the property. Free Wi-Fi is available. We loved the overall vibe of this property. The communal spaces to eat are really nice and you feel a real hostel vibe even though the rooms are private. We loved the hotel beach that is easily accessible from the grounds. We stayed in the Estrella cabin that overlooked another quiet beach, so we’d fall asleep to the waves every night. There is a Toucan rescue who comes by a lot. I got to see her during my shower along with seeing a sloth from our balcony. I paid to get a massage done on site, and Josie did an amazing job! Owners and staff are also all extremely nice people.

Toucan Hill is a hidden jungle paradise, but what truly makes it special is David. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home with his kindness, warmth, and attention to detail. The cabins are brand new, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped—sharp knives, quality cookware, a coffee machine, and even reusable water bottles to help reduce waste. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor living space is perfect for relaxing. We loved being surrounded by nature—waking up to the sounds of monkeys, spotting sloths in the trees, and seeing toucans and flying toads right outside our window. The beach is stunning, and David even provided beach mats and bags to make our days by the ocean even better. He went above and beyond, offering to bring us groceries from town and sharing great conversations over a beer, making us feel like old friends.

Konsenda has his own boat, with the best captain in Bocas, it is possible to drive to the mainland and discover so much there by car. I will add that although you are absolutely in the jungle, the bungalow has all the comforts, frogs singing at night and birds singing in the morning are the only sounds, Popa Island is the most remote, the cleanest and the quietest, believe me, in the most beautiful coral gardens, you are the only ones!
