It’s hard to choose what I loved most about Spirit of the River Lodge, everything was truly wonderful. The location is magical and peaceful, with the sound of the river always in the background and barely any traffic passing by. We stayed twice, in two different rooms, and both were beautifully designed, cozy, and offered gorgeous views of the river. You can really feel how thoughtfully everything was created to respect and highlight the natural surroundings. The lodge has a sauna overlooking the river, direct access to the water, and a small yoga shala where I enjoyed my morning practice and reading. Claudia and Rudi were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. They made us feel like family. We had dinner one night and breakfast each morning, and even as vegans, we felt so well cared for. The food was amazing. They also have lovely animals, a llama named Tupac and two sweet dogs, Max and Juanita, who added so much joy to our stay. The area is relaxing but also well located, with easy access to nearby towns and cities. We came back twice because we truly fell in love with the place. I can’t recommend it enough!

Overall, it was an amazing experience from the beginning until the end. Helpful and friendly staff, knowledgeable about the history of Peru. Great food, magnificent views. Getting to the capsule is an experience of its own. And the capsule itself - I wouldn't believe you could fit so many things there before I saw it myself. 10/10

Skylodge Adventure Suites nabízí restauraci, zahradu, terasu a bar. Bus Station se nachází 13 km odtud. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. You really get a whole experience already beginning with the climb. I already paid one of the guides to take photos. That meant that I could enjoy the climb and the stay without thinking of taking pictures. It is definitely worth it. The meals were outstanding and there were plenty. The pod is a ‘once in a lifetime’ kind of experience. And even though it Can be cold (I visited during the Winter in Peru) take your time and go to the roof of the pod and look at the stars. Also, have in mind that the facilities are primitive but works Well (you are hanging several hundred meters over the Ground) The guides were fantastic. Their english is good, and you felt very safe with Them.

What a stunning place to know as your home in a magical area in the mountain. The family are beautiful, and very wise. They have a sacred connection with the land and kindly share teachings of the history and traditional practices, music and pottery. The facilities are perfect for the price. A comfortable bed hot shower and kitchen with nice steel cooking pots. Fancy staying in tranquility in the mountains with a shop selling all organic groceries just a few minutes away. This is the place to come!

PERU QUECHUA'S LODGE Riverside nabízí restauraci, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. Bus Station se nachází 19 km odtud. The room was big and clean. The owners were very welcoming and provided a good breakfast. Also they provided us with great information where to go around Ollantaytambo.

The beautiful house offers a large common room with comfortable sofas and a wonderful view of the large garden and surrounding mountains. The stylishly furnished room (free upgrade) was very spacious and had a large bathroom and a comfortable sofa. I slept very well in the large bed. The host prepared a very rich and fresh breakfast tailored to individual preferences. The host was also helpful in organising activities in the area and gave some tips. Casafranca was by far the best accommodation of my entire trip through Peru. Highly recommended.
