Everything was excellent at Hacienda Herrera! The place is really beautiful, it’s a huge area full of nature that makes you understand a lot about Amazon, sustainable agriculture and wildlife. The cabins offer a unique experience of being in the middle of nature. The food was amazing every day and the staff is really nice and great. The highlight are of course the tours, which are offered by very experienced guides with an amazing skill of finding the best spots to watch wildlife, while being respectul to nature. We definitely recommend this place!

Very nice lodge, in the middle of the jungle. Many birds and small wild life in the lodge. Expeditions organised by the lodge are various and with excellent guide (Moses). The swimming pool is a plus. Cook is great. Bungalows are very confortable. We highly recommend !

Nachází se jen 3,5 hodiny od města Puerto Maldonado. (1 hodina autobusem a 2,5 hodiny lodí) Tato chata je jediná uvnitř Národní rezervace Tambopata. Wi-Fi je zde dostupné zdarma. Fantastic location to experience the Amazonian forest in a safe environment. Let’s be clear: keeping such a hotel working in a national park demands lots of logistics (they’re not even allowed to do laundry on site , everything linen and food is transported on boats and then by hand!). Their team works like crazy to keep this experience great and they can be proud. Of course it’s not a traditional 5* and the insect experience could be rough to some but you can’t imagine anything better in such a remote location. Truly a memorable experience, knowledgeable and welcoming guides. This is one trip we’ll always remember.

Such a beautiful property - really close to the town but far enough out that you really feel like you’re in the jungle. The staff were so kind and friendly and the included activities were awesome! I loved everything about it, even my little frog friend who joined me in the shower.

Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion se nachází ve městě Puerto Maldonado, je obklopená bujným tropickým deštným pralesem a je přístupná z přístavu Puerto Maldonado lodí Madre de Dios. The hotel is very well run and beautiful. I know it’s not truly in the real jungle but it gave us a good taste of it with a nice level of comfort. They planned the excursions for us and timed it very well. We didn’t feel rush or exhausted. All the guides were very knowledgeable and spotted many wildlife during our excursions. We saw capybaras, caymans, river otters, many types of birds and red howler monkeys!! The food was also amazing, three courses every meal! Lastly, all the staff were very friendly and professionally! It was an amazing experience!
