We loved the location. Getting out of our room and being already on the beach is the best. Also we had a small patio with chairs and table outside of our room which was so comfortable to have if we wanted to sit outside and just talk and listen to the waves. There we had a little pond with water to wash the sand off our feet before getting inside which was so nice to have. More than a room we had like a small apartment with an entrance, a sofa, different places to hang our clothes and the bedroom had two beds. We had so much space, even the bathroom was spacious and everything worked nicely. We loved having a full mirror, small detail but so useful. We also had a small fridge. The restaurant was nice, and the breakfast offer as well. We liked having sunbeds beachfront, but inside the hotel area where beachboys and masaai couldn't get in. They could be very persistent and annoying and follow you for miles until you get in hotel area, which was delimited by a very nice swing. We loved our rooom, we wish we could have stayed more! The location, the size, everything was perfect.

Everything was more then perfect. When we arraived, we thought that we are dreaming. It was beautiful. I have to talk about the meal too, because i tried a lot of restaurants in zanzibar , but here in Safaya was the best food i ever ate in zanzibar. The chef is the best, is from india, but he cooks more then perfect. When i will come back in zanzibar, i only would go in Safaya. Thank you for everything.

The place is very comfortable and truly worth the value. What really made this stay special for us is the host. Ms Bernadette. She is a smily lady with great personality. She made us feel like home. I highly recommend this stay and surely if we'll visit Zanzibar again l. We will stay there if available.

Breakfast was superb, location could not be beat. Just a few hundred meters from The Rock Restaurant and right on the beach. Lovely spot!

After three nights, we really felt like it was our home away from home. The building is a wonder and itself worth the visit. Joyce and her team were so attentive, personable, and helpful and family-style meals were excellent. Utupoa sits directly on the beach and easily reachable by foot from the village of Matemwe. What a wonderful way for our family to get to know a corner of Zanzibar and to unwind from our adventures. Thank you, Joyce!

From tantalizing seafood dishes to local vegetarian delights, the culinary experience at Zanbluu surpassed all expectations.

Evergreen Bungalows is the most beautiful place on earth. The upper floor beach front bungalows are like staying in a treehouse on the beach. The bed is huge and super comfortable. The balcony overlooking the beach has a daybed, table and a chair. You can walk straight on to the beach. Monkeys jump around in the trees directly outside the balcony. The food is amazing, and an incredible breakfast is included in the price. The beach, although wild and windy when we were there end July/beginning of August is stunning. Absolutely perfect!

I have been to many accommodations in Zanzibar, but this one was truly the most special experience for me. The peace and positive vibes I experienced there brought back 5 years of my life. The house is in a wonderful location, surrounded by dense vegetation, so you will feel a healing peace there during your entire stay. The bungalows are spacious and perfectly clean, the beds are large and comfortable, the view is stunning. The food deserves a Michelin star, the offer is varied, the ingredients are fresh every day, the portions are very generous, certainly above the price. The owner and all the staff are very accommodating, kind and ready to dedicate themselves to each guest to make them feel at home. My special thanks go to the hostess Suzy , whose helpfulness and kindness go beyond the limit and who made our stay even more beautiful. If you are planning to visit Zanzibar, do not make the mistake of not visiting this special piece of paradise. Thank you all, even though we left, a piece of my heart remained there 💓
