I m rarely impressed. But this time it was so nice place that you almost want to cancel your next hotel and stay longer in this place. So nicely equipped and so plenty place to enjoy. Fireplace. Hot tub fired by wood. When came home- 2 rhinos waited for us in garden- bit scary. If I could put 11 that this place will be that.

Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. This is a piece of paradise. The chalet is very comfortable and well equipped and maintained. The restaurant offers excellent food options. The breakfast is amazing. I recommend staying here at least for three nights.

Amazing place where you can rest, see animals in their natural habitat and eat great food. From the moment you pass through the gate everything is organised for you. The staff are so welcoming and attentive. The game drivers are so knowledgeable and engaging. We should have stayed more than two night’s! Our son , who is 9 years of age happily got up at 6 AM to go on a game drive . We all loved it. One of the most memorable experiences we had as a family!

I particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower that was part of room number 1.

Knysna Elephant Park Lodge poskytuje restauraci, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. Goose Valley Golf Club se nachází 14 km odtud. We liked the whole experience. Room perfect. Elephant viewing area perfect. Breakfast and other meals in the restaurant perfect. You can go and feed the elephants any time you want (at 30-minute intervals) during the day. We also took a walk with the elephants at a reasonable extra cost (limited availability so you must book well in advance). Staff were super friendly.

We had the most incredible stay at Stanley Island. The food, rooms and setting were so beautiful, and especially the service from Fanny at the restaurant made our visit! We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends.

The view is absolutely spectacular. The cabin was made of logs and had everything you could need supplied and was situated in a garden with mature trees and shrubs, which provides absolute privacy from the other cabins on the property. The hosts were also fantastic as were the other staff. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets should it turn cold.
