Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. Due to the high rating, we've had already high expectations. Fair to say, Elza & Albert and the team managed to exceed them! We've had a great stay and everything was perfect. Great breakfast, beautiful interior and terrace, impeccable service and central location. You want to stay more than one night and Outdtshoorn has a lot to offer! Don't just use it as a drive-through pitstop, the place was one of our favourites during our travels :-)

Willem was an exceptional host Loved seeing all the game.... they interrupted our dinner which was delightful but it landed up being a bit drawn out after a long days travel.

The lodge was everything we had hoped for, and the view from our lodge was mesmerizing. The lush garden filled with birds provided a serene retreat, and the pool was the perfect place to relax and 'rest the soul' (and if the soul requires a cocktail, that can be arranged too 😌). The restaurant was quaint, offering delicious ostrich specialties...as we are in ostrich capital of the world! However, what truly set this experience apart was the hospitality of Len, Hennie, Leigh-Vonne and all staff. They didn’t just welcome us—they created a genuine sense of connection, making us feel like more than just travelers passing through. Genuine, warm ...ánd fun! They made all the difference, turning a great stay into an unforgettable one.

Rooiberg Lodge se nachází v přírodní rezervaci Assegaay, kousek od města VanWyksdorp. Nabízí venkovní bazén a vlastní restauraci, vše obklopené pohořím Rooiberg. it’s a very nice hideaway with a cozy but excellent restaurant. And if course you have the fantastic Milky Way above you at night.

The manager that checked us in was very efficient and professional. Excellent value for money. The restaurant and food was amazing. Best omelette I have ever had for breakfast! The room where comfortable with all modern facilities and the two swimming pools and gardens are beautiful.

Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is an authentic and contrasting natural space, conveniently located along Route 62, a mere 3.5 hours from Cape Town in the arid Little Karoo. It was absolutely out of this world. We felt like princesses from the moment we left our car at the entrance.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Duckpond Lodge! From the moment we arrived, Richard went above and beyond to make our visit truly special. He was incredibly communicative leading up to our stay and took extra care to arrange thoughtful gifts for a special birthday celebration, which was such a delightful surprise. The lodge itself was charming, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations, and it’s clear that Richard genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. We couldn’t recommend Duckpond Lodge more and will definitely be returning!
