What made my stay unforgettable was the warm smiles and genuine hospitality of exceptionally friendly staff - Deline, Angel and Armstrong. For accommodation in Oribi Gorge, this is a perfect place.

Our stay at Babanango Game reserve at the Madwaleni River lodge and Zulu Rock Lodge was an experience we will never forget. The Lodge is a fantastic " tent" with all the comfort you can imagine. Our Diner was served as a private dinner at the libary, in the winecellar and other places. We also had a suprise breakfast outdoors in the wild, absolutly fantastic. Under the guidance of one of the best experts, mr Eduan Balt, we enjoyed the gamedrives in the morning and afternoon. We never learned so much during all those gamedrives in our whole life. Special thanks to Lungelo, Lunka and Ntombi and everyone of the staff , they were all very friendly and forthcoming, This was a once in a lifetime experience.

We loved this location - quaint, comfortable, and welcoming. The setting and the cabin were fabulous. Julian, our host was great. The cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and roomy, and the beds were comfortable. The wood-heated hot tub was fun. Guest could rent bikes, buy firewood, and 'shop' in the farm stall for fresh eggs, honey, wonderful homemade freezer meals, and much more There are several trails right out the front door that enable you to hike or mountain bike to a reserve with zebras and giraffes. We all wished we could have stayed longer! Thanks Julian!

The rooms were spacious and very clean, the pool was also spotlessly clean. They have a good Wi-Fi. The staff were extremely accommodating, warm and helpful (John and Panache), they made us feel at home and made sure we had everything we needed. John even went as far as helping us with our luggage on our arrival and when we leave, he also opened the kitchen for us after hours to warm our food and helped us with it. He is such an amazing person. Panache prepared the pool area for us to enjoy the view have a picnic. They provided a wonderful breakfast, they created a home away from home atmosphere. Everything was lovely and exactly as it is in the pictures.
