What made our stay so special: ⭐ The Friendly Staff – A huge thank you to Angel, Armstrong, and the lovely ladies from the restaurant for their warm hospitality. Their kindness and attentiveness made us feel right at home. 🐾 The Dogs! – We absolutely fell in love with Layla—what a beautiful soul! We already miss her so much. Peanut, Raisin, and the little Jack Russell (whose name escapes me) were also such wonderful companions. It was a joy having them around. 🏡 The Chalet – Simply amazing! It was beyond what we had imagined—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. 🌿 The Lodge & Surroundings – The entire place is breathtaking. The natural beauty of Oribi Gorge combined with the peaceful atmosphere of the lodge made for the perfect getaway. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience! We will definitely be back.

I spent four unforgettable nights at Babanango Reserve, and the experience was absolutely outstanding. The reserve itself is stunning, a true sanctuary of preservation and care, with a project that meaningfully involves and benefits the local community. We were lucky enough to see the Big 5 in breathtaking surroundings. The service was exceptional: spotless rooms, consistently kind and attentive staff, and delicious à la carte meals that exceeded expectations. It’s the perfect place for anyone seeking peace, excitement, and a deep connection with nature. But the real highlight of our stay was our guide, Zee. It was truly a privilege to meet and learn from him. Zee is incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much about the vegetation, the animals, and Zulu culture. Beyond his expertise, he stood out for his kindness, care, and dedication to every detail. He turned each game drive into something extraordinary and made our experience unforgettable. I highly recommend Babanango Reserve and hope to return soon for more relaxing and exciting days — and, of course, with the chance to be guided again by the amazing Zee

Silverstreams Lodge, Villas & Cottages, Oribi Gorge se nachází v destinaci Glendale a nabízí venkovní bazén, zahradu a terasu. The Lodge is a beautiful hidden gem. It is a self catering unit and well equipped. The housekeeping staff were respectful and ensured our space was well cleaned. Special thanks to Diana for her impeccable service, quick responses to our queries and overall attention to detail. Fresh towels were provided on a daily basis. The bedding was neat and super cosy. Toiletries were also provided - shampoo/conditioner/soap. A dishwasher is installed in the kitchen which came in handy with a large family! The Lodge was an absolute gem and ideal for a family break. I had the privilege to celebrate my birthday with my family after 6 years and the location was perfect. Definitely a vacation that will forever remain close to my heart. ♥️

Tugela River Lodge se nachází na břehu řeky Tugela, 22 km severně od Wintertonu a 13 km od přírodní rezervace Spioenkop a muzea Winterton. Nabízí ubytování s možností vlastního stravování. We really enjoyed our time at Tugela River Lodge. There’s so many things to do within the property like kayak, mountain bike, trails, and little farm area. It’s very clean and the staff and owner are super friendly and always willing to assist. The farm stall has a lot of supplies, so if you forget anything you wouldn’t even need to drive out. Very pet friendly as well - everything we could do with our little mini dachshund. She loved her time there and the fenced off area is big and safe. The wood-fired tub is an amazing way to wind down. The view is amazing and Bheki always comes to help fire it up ahead of time. All in all a fantastic experience as a couple, and I’m sure it’d be lovely for a family and friends group too!

Matusadona Guest Lodge se nachází na kopci Botha, v údolí 1000 Hills, a nabízí zahradu a venkovní bazén. Do Durbanu je to 28 km. Wi-Fi je zde dostupné zdarma. The location was easy to find. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the pool was also spotlessly clean. They have a good Wi-Fi. The staff were extremely accommodating, warm and helpful (John and Panache), they made us feel at home and made sure we had everything we needed. John even went as far as helping us with our luggage on our arrival and when we leave, he also opened the kitchen for us after hours to warm our food and helped us with it. He is such an amazing person. Panache prepared the pool area for us to enjoy the view have a picnic. They provided a wonderful breakfast, they created a home away from home atmosphere. Everything was lovely and exactly as it is in the pictures.
