What a find, the house had been moved 220km to this amazing plot. It was previously a nunnery and all those features had been retained, so the wood and feel of the property was extremely relaxing. The grounds included a railway carriage you could stay in, a wooden boat, carousel, a little lake with a fountain, swings, rocking seats, huge bee structure, the most amazing glass summerhouse with table tennis facilities and outside seating. Kym was the most amazing host, nothing was too much. She arranged our Milford Sound trip on Cruise Milford and recommended the time we should leave and stop off points on route. What I have not mentioned is that the lounge as free beer,wine, tea,coffee and cookies. What more could you want. Breakfast included everything you could want from continental to cooked, selection of juices and tea and coffee. One night we decided to stay in and Kym let us use the kitchen to cook dinner for ourselves and one other guest that we met. Felt very sad to leave and would differently recommend and go back if we can.

Mark, the owner, is a really nice and cheerful guy who will help you wherever he can. The room and bathroom were spcious and perfectly clean. It's just a short walk from the lakefront and the main street with all the shops and restaurants.

Great location, very clean, they have very large common area indoor and outdoor to enjoy. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. We stayed twice in our trip. Also they have great view 😊 Highly recommended

We had a wonderful 3 night stay enjoying the spaciousness of the bedroom, bathroom and living area of this property located in a quiet area of town, a nice 15 - 20 minute walk from most restaurants in Te Anau. Other pluses were the comfy bed and the wide selection of breakfast items provided. The luxurious spa was an added bonus for winding down our day. We would definitely recommend staying here!
