Set by Lake Kilpisjärvi off the E8 motorway, this resort is within 7 km of the Swedish and Norwegian borders. It offers cottages and apartments with private saunas, full kitchens and free Wi-Fi. This hotel is in a perfect location on the Finland-Norway border to witness the Northern Lights, and we were lucky enough to see them during our stay! The remote setting, surrounded by stunning snow-covered wilderness, made the experience even more magical. To make it even better, we also got to enjoy the New Year fireworks, which added a festive touch to our unforgettable trip. The staff were incredibly helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. Our room was cozy and warm, perfect for relaxing after a night of aurora hunting. The restaurant was fantastic, serving delicious food that made our stay even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a comfortable, scenic stay with a great chance to see the Northern Lights and celebrate the New Year in a magical setting, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Adults Only Invisible Forest Lodge & SPA se nachází v destinaci Rovaniemi a nabízí ubytování s terasou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, barem a wellness centrem. Krásné ubytování v lese, zrcadlové fasády domečků, které odráží okolní les a neruší okolí. Koukáte pořád do lesa. Fantastické snídaně, soukromá sauna s vířivkou.

Kätkä Lake Lodge se nachází v destinaci Tervola a nabízí ubytování s soukromou pláží, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, terasou a barem. Koivu je 21 km daleko. We enjoyed our stay very much. We chose a place to stay further away from the city center, looking for a remote and quiet place away from the tourist crowds, but with the convenience of good service and a restaurant. The host is an awesome guy who cares a lot about his customers, and his little dog, Onni, is a real sweetheart. The place is like old time Lapland accomodation. The atmosphere is very calming, silent and homelike. Food is exceptional here and local products are used to prepare them. We got to also witness the Auroras with a small surprize from our host. Cahkal Hotel se nachází v destinaci Kilpisjärvi a nabízí přístup na lyžích až k ubytování. We stayed a night here, to break the long road journey from Levi to Tromso and ended up seeing the Northern lights similar to what is in their profile picture, right from the hotel! The staff were so awesome that they felt like family. The rooms were very comfortable and ours was at the end of the corridor with a big window overlooking a snow clad hill. There is a warm seating area next to the reception, with a real fire place, giving it a great vibe. A lot of activities (as much as you can expect from a 150- person tiny village) on offer around the place, which also is the NW most point of Finland and right next to the borders with Sweden and Norway too. There is a bus change at Kilpisjarvi when going to Tromso or the other way round, and the bus stops right at the hotel. Overall we couldn't find a single negative to list out. Special mention to Niila and Sari - thank you from our hearts. The spruce ice cream dessert at dinner remains the best dessert we have had traveling across EU, in the past two weeks!

Excellent location, amazing igloo design, cosy and convenient. We caught aurora light on the second night in AQ resort. Wonderful experience, the most important was the owners and staffs were extremely helpful and kindness. We all love this resort and start planning for our next vacation now.

Set in the heart of Rovaniemi, Haawe Boutique Apart Hotel provides stylish apartment accommodation featuring free WiFi, a seating area, a public laundry room, and a kitchen. Ubytování bylo velmi hezké a čisté. Mile nás překvapila plná lednice jídla a čokoláda na posteli. Mrzelo nás, že jsme nevyzkoušeli více vašich pokojů, protože žádný z dalších hotelů, které jsme v Rovaniemi vyzkoušeli nebylo tak pěkné jako váš hotel.
