Marpunta Resort was absolutely delightful. The grounds the hotel is located on are exquisite, the pool was incredible, the private beaches (yes there are multiple) are stunning with crystal waters and well situated to offer good protection from wind/waves. They're made up of small pebbles which means no sand to clean off and no seaweed either. But bring your water shoes because without them, the pebbles can be painful to walk on. That said, the best part of the resort was the staff. Kostas and his team were extremely attentive to our families needs. A special thank you to Lela and Stefanos at the pool bar who catered to our every need despite being extra busy with a wedding that was going on at the same time as our stay. And an extra big THANK YOU to Christina for the lovely souvenirs for our children:) The house cleaning was on point and made sure we were comfortable throughout our entire stay. The all inclusive option was excellent value for us. Delicious food options offered all day and again the service was exceptional. Drinks are available all day (10 am to 11 pm) I read many complaints on this site about the drinks being inconsistent/subpar but our experience was quite the opposite, very smooth service and consistent pours. The pool side service was great offering pizzas, burgers and sandwiches inbetween normal meal hours. This hotel was a strong 4 star throughout our stay ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ✨

Čtyřhvězdičkový Althea Suites s panoramatickým výhledem na moře a hory nabízí 3 tradičně zařízené apartmány a 8 moderně zařízených pokojů v historickém centru Alonnisosu. A true beauty of a hotel. A perfect balance between classic and modern. We went there for four nights of our honeymoon and had the best time ever. We regretted we didn’t choose this hotel for our whole stay in Alonissos instead of staying at several hotels. The view was amazing, the facilities were great and we felt as home as soon as we got there. Maria was ever so helpful arranging transportation, answering questions and making sure we had a nice stay. She deserves a lot of appreciation. The placement of the hotel in the old town is perfect, it’s just far enough away from the “hub” of the old town to make you feel even more relaxed. The immediate neighbouring restaurant of Astrofegia gives a cozy Greek vibe. We recommend this hotel at the warmest.
