Being a hotel only run by women, I truly appreciate the concept behind this establishment. It also adds more meaning and empowering touch to the whole experience. The staff was warm, attentive and genuinely accommodating throughout our stay. The manager personally checked in with us daily and the housekeeping did an excellent job keeping our room spotless everyday. On our last day, the team went above and beyond to arrange a lovely dinner by the pool for my partner and me which was truly memorable.

Nuestra estancia en este hotel fue maravillosa. Desde la llegada, el personal nos recibió con mucha amabilidad, enseñándonos la habitación y todos los servicios. Las instalaciones son muy nuevas, las habitaciones limpias, la cama muy cómoda con mosquitera y el entorno es precioso, con un camino que parece sacado de la jungla. El restaurante es excelente, con comida muy rica y un servicio encantador. El hotel cuenta con piscina, jacuzzi, sauna, sala de juegos y gimnasio, todo muy bien cuidado. El desayuno fue excepcional, con varias opciones, cantidades generosas y productos de gran calidad. Además, está ubicado a solo 5–10 minutos en coche de Lion Rock. Sin duda, lo recomendamos totalmente.

Sigiriya Kings Resort was the hidden gem during our stay in Sri Lanka. It is a place surrounded by nature and very quiet. There is a big pond that is right next to the lodge where you can see frogs and many many birds. The rooms are high standard, good and silent air conditioning, good shower with amenities, bathrobe, and a flash light. The people were extremely friendly and attentive. I could only touch a sun umbrella and within seconds somebody was there to help me. The continental breakfast was superb and we enjoyed it every day. Fresh juice, smoothie, yoghurt, eggs/bacon/beans, fruits, and sweets. We usually don’t eat dinner at the restaurant of the hotel but ended eating at this place every evening. The meals were so delicious and worth the price. Recommendation: Tom Yum soup and everything on the SKR specials page! They have multiple trips that they offer and arrange for you. We booked the safari in Hurulu. They knew exactly where the elephants were these days and we saw around 40 of them also very close up. Big thanks to our guide Samantha for the awesome experience🎉 And not to forget the lovely view to Lions Rock and Pidurangala. We took one of their bikes to make a nice 1.5h ride to the base of the Lions Rock and city center. It’s a cool way to discover the surroundings. We enjoyed everything and want to say big thanks to the owner and staff for taking such good care and making our stay unforgettable. ❤️
