I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Jampa during my first visit to Kathmandu, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. 😊 The rooms were just the right size for my needs, and the thoughtful touches, like complimentary water and shower gels, added to the comfort. Breakfast was delicious and offered a great start to each day. The reception staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. They answered all my questions with a smile and arranged a driver for me and a friend on short notice when we decided to visit the Swayambhunath Temple. Their efficiency and responsiveness were greatly appreciated. Another convenient feature was the currency exchange service available at the front desk. The hotel’s pickup and drop-off service was impeccable. As a first-time visitor to Nepal and a solo female traveler, I felt completely at ease. One gesture that stood out and truly touched me occurred during my departure. While on the way to the airport with their drop-off service, the receptionist messaged me to let me know that I had accidentally left behind a bag of souvenirs. At that point, we had already reached the airport, but the driver kindly returned to the hotel, retrieved my bag, and delivered it to me at the airport—all free of charge and with remarkable speed, given my flight was fast approaching. Overall, my experience at Hotel Jampa was wonderful. From the reception staff to the drivers and even the bodyguard, everyone contributed to making my first stay in Kathmandu feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared-for. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu. 🌟

This was honestly one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Perfect location in the heart of Thamel with everything within walking distance. The room and the whole hotel are beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and offer everything guests might need. Nepali people are usually very welcoming, but I'd like to highlight how the staff here made us feel at home. I wanted to name, but then Id have to name absolutely everyone we interacted with.

Absolutely exceptional and exceeded all expectations. The manager ( Punta) goes above and beyond to ensure guests are comfortable and well taken care of. Great breakfast and greater location. I recently stayed at Hotel Barahi in Kathmandu. The location is excellent, and the property itself is clean, safe, and well-maintained. While the energy of the hotel didn’t fully resonate with me personally, I want to acknowledge that the facilities were all in working order, and the front desk staff were helpful and courteous throughout my stay. One exceptional highlight was a waitress named Deviyiu Sharma (apologies if the spelling is incorrect). Her enthusiasm, attention to detail, and genuine professionalism stood out. She took great pride in her work, and her service was a credit to the hotel.

This property exceeded our expectations. It was our favorite stay in Nepal! The staff are extremely proactive from the time you arrive, to arranging outings, and assisting in the restaurant. The restaurant had the best buffet breakfast of any place we stayed- fresh and great variety. The rooms are lovely and the window to view the hills and mountains is a bonus.
