Great facility and location; everything is just as described and seen in photos, they deserve the rating. Within minutes (max 30min drive) from the activities of interest within the area (ski resorts, steam train, mountain peaks trekking, waterfalls etc.) The hosts are quick/prompt to reply and solve any issues. Great views from the balcony (mountain + lake & trout farm), the rooms are sparkling clean, furnished elegantly and of high quality with a cosy warm atmosphere, well soundproofed. There is a shared kitchen downstairs with all the white goods and necessary cutleries, utilities, board games and more things to discover yourself. We highly recommend this place! The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every moment comfortable. My room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Every detail—from the cozy bedding to the serene ambiance—made it feel like a true home away from home. A special highlight of my visit was the restaurant. The food was absolutely outstanding—each dish crafted with remarkable creativity and fresh, high-quality ingredients. The chefs clearly pour passion into their work, and it shows in every bite. The atmosphere was elegant yet inviting, and the service was impeccable. It’s the kind of restaurant that turns a simple meal into an unforgettable experience. Overall, this hotel exceeded all expectations. I can’t recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning soon!

El Mirage Resort & Spa está situado en Vişeu de Sus, en la histórica región de Maramureş. El hotel cuenta con solárium y restaurante. Everything was up to standard including very good customer service. Highly recommended.

I've liked the hospitality of the staff and also the food that they cooked for us. Also, the hotel is located in a quiet area, near the forest. The breakfast was freshly cooked and they provided tea and coffee.
