The property is 600 metres from Tha Pae Gate, and within less than 1 km of the city centre. We were very impressed with the level of care and hospitality given to us throughout the trip. From the moment we checked in to the time of check-out every member of the team looked after us to ensure we have a great stay We have to mention Dragon in particular who often times went above and beyond. For example, when we had a guided tour that started early in the morning and we werent sure if we would make it for the hotel breakfast in time (which started at 7am). Dragon offered to take down our orders the night before (breakfast is ala cart menu but unlimited) to pass to the kitchen staff early to have the food ready by 7am sharp or alternatively offered a selection of food that could be packed as a "take away" bag for our trip. He was polite, genuine and always served with a smile Thank you very much Thee Vijit for making our stay extra enjoyable

The location of the hotel is unbeatable—you’re walking distance to the city center and to the eastern canal area and night market. Every morning I get an excellent cappuccino brought up to my room and then set out on foot to do whatever I feel like. Haven’t seen a hotel this clean or new in a long time. (As of February 2025.) Right now I think the rooms are worth $150 USD/night but of course that can change according to supply and demand. If the town is packed I imagine they could charge $200/night. I had dinner here as an emergency late one night after 10 when I didn’t feel like going back out after returning home, and the pad Thai was solid—nothing spectacular but was so helpful to have good food and a beer on demand. They do absolutely everything to please, including random recommendations if you ask. And reasonably priced laundry. List goes on :)
