The staff was professional, very friendly, and were more than willing to accommodate our requests. The room was very clean and updated. It was a pleasant place to stay after a long flight. I love the quirkiness of being over a pub, and I was pleasantly surprised that we heard little to no noise in our room. The location is just close enough to the beach district to make it walkable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and will definitely make this our "go-to" hotel whenever we are in Sydney!

Free parking is available on site. The best thing was the value for money. For a motel in Sydney suburbia, albeit outer suburbia, it is well priced. That's not to say the rooms weren't any good, they were very good, but there is quite a variation between different rooms. Rooms 11-14 are in a converted house next door and are quite different rooms to the main motel rooms, much more spacious for a start.
